How can you request family members with a different reservation to have the same dining rotation?

Hello,

How can we request other family members with a different reservations to have the same dining rotation and table with us? Also, how early do you have to request this?

Just call DCL or your travel agent and asked that your reservations be linked for dining. I'm not sure when they make the dining seating arrangements but we usually do it right when we book. If you do it before your paid-in-full date, when you are open to make excursion and adult dining, you should be able to book Palo/Remy together also if you want to.

I linked our reservations under my account and was able to make the change that way, also that way we were seated together at 1 table.

Do you have a sign on for DCL's website? If so, go under My Disney Cruise and you can add their reservation to your list. You will be fully linked if you do it this way -- linked for dining, will be able to see each others booked activities, will be able to book activities for each other (when the reservation's booking window opens based on Castaway Club status), etc.

If you only want to be linked for dining and not all the other stuff, you have to call DCL (or have your TA do it if you used one).

Dining assignments are finalized shortly before the cruise. I like to make sure my requests are all in by a month before the cruise - that way I don't overlook details in the busy days leading up to a cruise. You can do it now, the only thing that prevents you from doing is having more than one person logged into the reservation at the same time. So if you intend to book your excursions and your other family members intend to book theirs and you both want to do it at midnight 75 days before the cruise, you couldn't do that if they are linked.

I linked everything online and called DCL to make sure we all have dinner together.

I'll know if it worked out in a few days.
