So my husband decided we are to celebrate my 70th birthday in Disney World. We also would be celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary 3 weeks later. I wanted to flag our trip with this occasion, but there was no where I could find to mark this. Is there a way we can go back into the reservation and update it. Both my DH and I had an assortment of health problems during the past 2 years and decided we are going back as this may be our last trip. 😿Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You can call or email guest services and request your celebrations be added to your reservation. Enjoy!

I’d call and have it added to your reservation. Chat via MDE might work as well, from what I’ve heard, but I always call.

Does your reservation have the Change Reservation box? If yes:

1. Click on that box and it will take you to a page that has this option,

2. Click on the  Add. You will see this,

3. Click the Add Your Celebration box to see a list of events to choose from.
4. Select your event.
5. Select the name of the person celebrating the event.

🎂Happy Birthday and Anniversary🎊

If you do what Minnie says and staying at a resort with the updated TV it will say Happy Birthday on the TV.

I totally forgot BLT had old tvs so I didn’t get it there but most will have that. WL, BWI, GF had that on recent stays. IMG_1005.png

I ended up calling the WDW number direct to update my reservations. Would you believe I never had to hold. I did miss listening to their Disney music. Michael quickly updated our reservation and we had a pleasant conversation. Easiest cha mgr ever. One time I was n hold for over an hour.

I mist be lucky but every time I’ve called to make reservations/change resorts/add requests I’ve never had to hold either. This has been the case the last 2-years for me. I, too, remember holding for what seemed like hours in the past

As others have noted, make sure to pick up some "I'm Celebrating" and "Birthday" buttons from the front desk or guest services. No guarantees, but my sister wore her birthday button during the duration of our March trip and so many, little special things happened - free desserts, CMs and guests constantly wishing her happy birthday and the MK ferry boat announcer even asked everyone to wish her a happy birthday over the PA system as we docked - it was really fun!

70 years around the sun and 44 of those together is quite the accomplishment. It sounds like it will be magical, whether the mouse provides any of that magic or not. I wish you nothing but the best on your trip - wear all the buttons, do all the things, have a blast. :smickey:
