I am staying at polynesian isles. How could one travel between this place and the Gaylord? I have no car and wondered if it is possible to walk or get a bus?

It's a fairly long walk--about an hour according to Google--and you can shorten that by maybe 20 minutes by catching the 55 of 56 bus for part of the way. Even with that there's still a fair amount of walking.

I'd just take a cab, which probably will take 10 minutes and run less than $20, including tip, each way.

Many thanks. And how would one get a look at a 55/56 bus timetable and route?

However, take a good look at the route you would have to walk (zooming in with Google Maps). There are no sidewalks on much of South International Drive.

Also, you would travel only a short distance on a Lynx bus. In the time you spend waiting for the bus, you might be able to walk that stretch.

I would rent a car. You then also have the freedom go drive to restaurants, shopping centers, theme parks, Downtown Disney, and anyplace else you want to go in the area.

Taking cabs is also an option, but the cost quickly adds up.
