I don't know how I will be able to stand it! My daughter is about to go to a very expensive college:eek: and another daughter told me that I am about to become a grandma for the first time! :cloud9: While all these things are the best things to happen in a long time, my DH has told me we will have to curb back all vacations! We usually go to Disney 2 times a year, now all money will need to be spent going to visit a new baby and also for hotets to visit the DD at college. Visiting this site will be the closest I will get to Disney for a while!!!! Anyone able to help me through the withdrawl?

:)Maybe it will not be as bad as he thinks cost wise. Congratulations on being a grandma.

I'd start planning anyhow. Even if you are planning for a trip 2 years away! To me, part of the joy is in the planning! Besides, you never know! You just might get to use those plans sooner than you think!!

I have to laugh at your siggie. My hubby calls me...HOT MAMA. :lmao:

And to the OP...congrats on becoming a Grandma! I just became a new grandma, and it's great! (Also requires a hotel stay, but that's OK!) And maybe your hubby will miss WDW as much as you.

Thank you all for the Congrats on becoming a grandma. It won't happen until around April 12th in St Paul, MN. I am hoping that a at least a quick weekend to WDW will be in the future.

Having a new grandbaby will be a great reason to check out the Fantasy Land expansion.

Well, I would just tell your DD heading to college that Disney has an internship program for students and that it sounds like a great experience for her (so you HAVE to take time to visit)!!!:lmao:

But, congratulations on the new grandchild who is on the way!!!

Well that baby will need a trip to Disney at some point right???? LOL!!

DGD, Lexi, turns 4 months old tomorrow:cloud9:, I tell DW all the time she needs to go SOON! She LOVES I mean truelly LOVES our Larry Dotson paintings she will just stare at them for the longest time, ya she is a Disney Nut like Pawpaw and mommy....Shawnpirate:

Congratulations!......we have 7 and we are all going in June with their parents! Cost.....I would just go and lounge around the resorts since lodging is already paid. That's what is soooo nice about DVC!
