SWe stayed at RPR, and I got my loews water, fruit, and a lovely hand written card welcoming me, but I swear I booked it with the APH rate, which would not work for securing my GOLD...
I guess I will call them, Did you call Loews?
call the loews youfirst number.
the person will tell you to wait and check back another time.
at that point, tell her you want to talk to a supervisor.
most cases, you won't have to.
the employee you are talking with can send an internal email to the correct department. they, in turn, will read that email and respond to you directly.
you will be told it could take up to 3 days before you receive a reply back.
i received my reply within 6 hours.
my email stated i was given credit for the recent stay.
that is the only reason i had called as i needed verification. the on line account did not reflect my recent stay.
the system is having a hiccup and the current postings are not on the member information account site but will be soon.
i'm keeping my email as proof in case of, you know, in case of.......

you used the aph rate.
gee, that's a twist on it now.
the way the system runs now is to only allow the stay to be valid is by booking with the allowable discounts....
.ie: AAA, etc.
all the hotels do the welcome gift and welcome notes to loews members.
that is something the hotels have decided separate from the corporation loews youfirst program.
you can try talking to someone about your situation but don't know if they will waiver on the aph booking.
