How can I do this without checking out/in/out/in

We want to spend one week in a 2BR over next spring break. We need to get one Friday/Saturday night with cash.
Unfortunately, the best airfare right now is a Monday-Monday trip. So I would be using points for Monday-Friday nights, cash for Saturday, and points for Sunday.
Is this possible without moving at all? Seriously, going Monday 4/6 to Monday 4/13 instead of Friday 4/3 to Friday 4/10 saves us $575 total for the 5 of us (don't even ask about the Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday trips!).

If you reserve your cash night through MS and it is for the same kind of accomodation, they will link it to your points reservation and you will not have to move.

If you book your cash night through CRO, they will try to reference the 2 reservations to avoid a move, but cannot guarantee it. When deciding where to stay, you should be aware that some kinds of accomodations probably cannot be booked for cash, such a BW view. Best of luck -- Suzanne

We did the exact same thing last summer - when I reserved my cash ressie with my AP rate, the CM made note of linking the DVC ressie, and I did the same with Member Services. When I checked in, made sure they were aware of our linking of the ressies, and I was assured I wouldn't have to move. I did have to do the check-in, check-out thing though, but that was fine, just took a minute.

If you do everything through member services, you will only have to check-in once. If you go through CRO for the cash nights, you do need to check-out and back in.

Is an AP price for a room the same as the as a cash discount for a DVC member for a room paying cash?
