How can I "Disney-fy" my husband?

When planning our trips I did'nt ask DH to many questions because he always told me I can't think about that so far ahead of time you make the decision. He just was'nt into Disney like I am, he did'nt enjoy spending so much time in the parks. Our last trip we spent less time in the parks and more time relaxing at the pool in the afternoon. When we went out to dinner we would stroll around the resort afterwards and then go back our resort and maybe swim. DH said it was the best vacation we've ever had! He liked the hotel and restaurants we ate at and not going commando. We even booked it again for next year. After all it is his vacation as well and I want him to enjoy also. Now that he's found things he enjoys about Disney he gives me more feedback as to what he would like to do. Linda :)

Dont shoot me for this one please..it made me laugh when DH said it. I suggested a Segway tour and he said.. what and look like that Richard Simmons guy? Noooooooooo thank you lol I had flipped through channels one day and he was on one of the talk shows on one lol.

My sympathies; I can't imagine going to WDW if my wife wasn't enjoying it at all. I'd probably see who else could go with me who would enjoy it.

I wasn't exactly a Disney scrooge, and I didn't object when my wife told me she wanted to go to Disney World for our honeymoon. I was perhaps a bit apprensive about being drowned in Disney "magic." But once I started researching and planning, I was totally crazy about it. And now that we've been, I'm even more crazy about it. Personally, sitting by the pool or relaxing or going on a tour feels like wasting precious time to me... it's all about the parks (well, and the restaurants) for me.

We don't have a ton of money, but if we were to suddenly win $5000, we wouldn't have to say a word to each other; there's no question what we'd be doing with it. Can't wait to go back... we both think about it daily...

Easy. Just withhold the sex. Works on my wife all the time.

Okay, I'm lying. But she's used it with me so many times, I know it works.

When I first became obssessed with a WDW trip, I tried to "Disney-fy" my DH (OK, we're common-law), w/movies, planning video, books, etc. But I've since dropped that plan.

I now play the "If you love me & REALLY want to make me happy, we'll go to Disney" card.

Strangely it's worked better.

He's now accepted that's where we're going there for our honeymoon! (After we "make it legal" as he oh-so-romatically phrased his proposal!)

Good luck!

I used who's your daddys theory... DH said he'll have a smile on his face the entire time whether he's enjoying it or not lol

Here's a secret: it works on EVERYTHING and ALL THE TIME. But remember, don't abuse the power - we have pride too y'know.
