How busy will Epcot be May 5th & 6th?

Is Epcot really busy on Friday and Saturday's in early May? My DH now says he'd like to go there instead of MGM maybe?

I've always been such a planner, but this trip I'm letting the family help. Will I survive

Several years ago we were at Epcot during the week in May...I thing it was a Friday. The place was filled with school children. It was so crowded we decided to hop over to the Studios instead. When we exited Epcot we saw school buses everywhere. It seems that the local schools do trips to Epcot. So while I can't directly answer your question I would suggest that if you go to Epcot on Friday be prepared to exit and go over to another park just in case.

The good think about your plan is that both of your choices are a boat ride apart, so if you do go to Epcot and find that it is too crowded to your liking, leave thru the International Gateway (between UK & France), catch the Friendship Boat and scoot over to MGM for the day. Not much of an inconvenience.
