Hubby and I are going December 13-20 and we're wondering how busy the parks typically are (we generally go in November). Thanks!

We will be there at the same time you are but just a day behind you on arrival and exit. I know that all the hype says that the first 2 weeks of December are the slow times. But, this year, we have a situation where there are about 3 weeks before the holiday hits and the rates go up.

I have noticed that the MVMCP attendees seem to have the most folks set to go the first 2 weeks. The Pop Warner football SuperBowl is in that first 2 weeks. The big internet meet is in the first 2 weeks.

I think we might have hit on the best time to be there. That Friday and Saturday will be busier than the first part of the week will be, but otherwise, I think we made a great choice. I am interested to hear what the veterans have to say. Mickey

Traditionally, the time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, not inlcuding the actual holidays, is the slowest time of the year. Its also a great time to visit because 1) its slow and 2) the holiday decorations are up. We went a few years ago from like Dec. 5-12 I think and it was great. Only problem was it rained every day, but we didn't really care.
