I was planning a stop at Sea World next week while travelling in Florida with my 3 teenagers. I went to their website, and I saw the hours of operation for my stay in Orlando have them open only until 7 pm. I assume that means its not peak season yet....but summer hours do start next Saturday.

I dont mind the shorter hours, or lack of nighttime shows IF that means the park is so empty that we've gotten to see everything by dinner time.

ANy help is appreciated !!

We went last Thursday, June 2nd and found the crowds manageable. We arrived about 8:30 and did everything that we wanted and left the park about 5:45.

The only thing that really looked crowded to me were the rides, but since this was our 1st visit, maybe this is typical? Average wait times for most of the day was 45-60 minutes. However, right before we left, DD decided she wanted to try Manta and it was posted as 35 minutes but ended up being only about a 20 minute wait.

Here's what we did to give you an idea:
Visited all the animal exhibits (spent quite a bit of time at the sea lions, manatees, dolphin, and sharks)
Fed the dolphins at their 1st feeding at 9:30
Blue Horizons 10:00 (only arrived about 10 minutes early and still got great center seats)
Clyde & Seamore Take Pirate Island 11:15
Ate lunch at Spice Mill (the club sandwiches are huge and tasted great)
Visited the animal on exhibit (an alpaca) at the Sea Gardens
One Ocean 2:00 (we did arrive 45 minutes early so we could get center seats in the splash zone, but people were still coming in right before it started -- several high riser seats were still open)
Picked up souveneirs on our way out

Like the poster above said. Crowds are manageable right now. This Saturday the 18th is when peak season starts so crowds will increase then.
