How Busy is July?

So I would never go in July if it were my choice but my FIL gave us his time share for the week of July 3rd. I know its going to be busy... but just how busy do you think. What do you think the avg. wait times will be? Has anyone gone this week? Thanks in Advance

I know I read about them but can't remember how long waits were then

Very, very busy. And hot. So hot.

Wait time predictions? My rough guess would be 60min+ waits for everything. I would not set foot in the parks in July without Express Passes.

It is very busy and I would expect to continue to trend up since Universal is opening new stuff every year now ( this year is Skull Island ). Last years crowd calendar showed heavy crowds.I wouldn't do it without express pass

We've gone last week of June pre 4th & and last week of July; which was significantly busier - surprised me.

if it were the only time i could go, as long as staying onsite for FOTL, I would go without hesitation. No matter how busy of the season, U tends to be less crowded than Disney-MK

since it appears you have complimentary usage of an offsite TS, I'd be . Should help the budget buying EPs, which I'd term a necessity.

Note that during busy times @ U i've found half hour+ long FOTL waits for several attractions when the regular lines are 1 - 1-1/2 hours. You will need to plan your days and hit the headliners early or late.
