Thinking of stopping in around noon on Thursday, 8/4. We are not staying onsite this time. So are all the fast passes gone by noonish? Will there be 90 minute waits? Any opinions? We have AP's so we can hop back and forth between IOA and US. Thanks. :flower:

Lately it has been very hot and busy everyday. I would book an Express plus before you leave home.

Our last day there was the Thursday before July 4th ( I don't know if it plays a part or not), but it was the most crowded. We were there from Friday until Friday, and even thru the weekend we walked right on with our FP's. I would highly suggest getting them. Even on Thursday with our FP's we had to wait in line!!!!

Thanks it looks like we will skip US/IOA :sad2: and head straight to Disney. Thanks for your replies.

Why would you do this? :confused3 The lines will be just as long, if not longer at Disney!

This is a last minute quick Budget Birthday trip to Disney(5 days). We are arriving on Thursday around 9:30am. We were going to head DTD. Hang out at Disney Quest and our resort pool. When we go to WDW parks we arrive at opening and have a touring plan so crowds aren't a problem.

The last time we were at USO, The last week of April, first week of May, the crowds were extremely light during the week. It was a madhouse at Disney. We were staying at the Hard Rock and did not need our FOTL. I was hoping to find a similar situation. Maybe Thursday would be a light day, like in April. But if all the regular express passes are gone by the time we get there, we'll skip it. For the same reason we won't head to a Disney park in the middle of the day. We don't want to spent our first day waiting in hour long lines.

If you think we will still be able to get express passes, we would love to go. Thanks. :flower:

BTW, what is the average wait for the single rider lines, in Aug? Thanks. :wave2:

You can book your express plus pass from home and pick it up when you get there. It would be worth getting if you are going in Aug.
Single riders lines always vary. I wish I could give you a definate answer, but sometimes they are short, sometimes they are long.

I don't want to buy the express plus pass. So I think we will skip it. Thanks for your suggestion, though. :flower: :wave2:

Some attractions will still have Express, but the popular ones (Hulk, Mummy, Spider-Man) run out between 12 and 2.

Also, lines are shorter in the morning (9a-11a) and evening (8p-10p).
