Hi.
We're looking at planning the next trip - now DH has planned May thanks to Mr T and the APs!!:cool1:

As we have to go during school holidays we were looking at the end of August - arriving the 23rd and leaving on the 29th - we went in August 2004(which seems so long ago!)but wondered if anyone had ideas how busy it would be?

Also does anyone know what would be on then - eg parades special events such as fireworks?

Thanks for the link - never thought of looking there. Think this cold has killed off a few braincells!;)

Will be great to see the fireworks - we just missed them last time and I wanted to be sure they would still be on when DH booked.:goodvibes

I'm bummed .... since I'll miss the fireweorks ... again.

I might consider changing the date of my trip to Disneyland. But, then
I'd pay a great deal more. I thought they had it in September, but now
I see that it's just in the summertime.

The bus trips are not so many in August either. Just the first week and
then it's September 7th, the date I've choosen.

When I booked in January, I was able to save about $150. If I change the
date, I'll loose the savings and end up spending $200 more. So, I don't think
it's really worth the trouble to change the dates,

Then again, there ar others who have booked in April and May for
Disneyland. You can't have it all, I guess.

Maybe next time.. in 2010, IF I can hold out that long....

We will be there 22nd August to 29th so i'm interested in this thread too!
I figured that many people will have had their summer holiday by then so the weekdays should be medium busy but still very busy at the weekends.
We have also booked courtesy of T's and will be staying at Val D'Europe in an apartment.
Anyone who was there at the end of august in the last few years was it good hours/crowd wise?

We went from Thurs 25th to Tues 30th August in 2005. We had no problems with the crowds, we just got there early and used fastpass. I remember the Sunday was especially busy as it was the last day of the Summer Season plus a pin trading day but we still managed fine. I remember the next day, Monday, the parks looked like a ghost town compared to the previous days as the guests disappeared along with the late hours! :rotfl:

The Summer Season seems to be until 31st August this year so the park will be open until late. :thumbsup2

i went at the end of august last year and when its hot the park is extremely busy! i found that i went at the right time coz it rained for 4 out of the 5 days i was there so the park was empty!

We are going in September, and it appears to be a black hole of entertainment and parades :sad1: :sad2:

Yeah.. What's with that attitude??

I'll be going at the same time, by the way. The schedules are ptobably not available at this time on the webpage, but I HOPE something's happening.
Otherwise, I'd better call and tell the sus company here in Sweden,

I doubt you'll need to worry since the schedules will be updated.

All the evening & summer shows end 1 week before we go, and nothing (at the moment) starts till Halloween.

You'll still have Candleabration every evening and don't forget one of the perks of going off-season is less crowds. :thumbsup2 Plus the weather is often lovely in September. :goodvibes
