How busy are the parks (and WDW in general) over Mother's Day?

Has anyone had a trip to WDW over Mother's Day? If so, how busy were the parks, and WDW in general? We're considering early May 2022 for our next trip. but we may be there over Mother's Day. Not wanting to hit crowds. Any experiences?

Early May is often a beautiful time to visit! Medium sized crowds which do not tend to increase on Mother's Day.

As above, it’s a great time to go. No school holidays around that time and schools aren’t out for the summer yet, summer humidity hasn’t come in yet (although it can be pretty warm), Flower & Garden Festival in full swing!

We went twice Mother’s Day week. The first year it wasn’t crowded and temperatures were great. The second time it was packed and we had temps of 95 all week It’s so hard to say - sometimes luck of the draw.

be advised that table service restaurants fill up with reservations early for Mother's Day. So if you have a favorite restaurant you want to eat at, start thinking about reservations
