For those who have been during the Christmas season on these days how busy is the park, im expecting it to be rather busy but is it like packed lol.

 I just think it would be nice to spend Christmas here as it would be a lovely present for Kyra.

Obv cant book till Xmas dates are avaliable so im kind of toying with the idea now.:surfweb:

Dont think i will ever have too much Disney :rotfl:

We went for Christmas in 2005. Christmas Eve was pretty quiet, especially the afternoon and evening when it seemed like the place was deserted! :thumbsup2
Christmas Day wasn't busy either as there didn't seem to be any day visitors, just the guests from the hotels.
Boxing Day was a different story entirely ~ people just seemed to pour through the turnstiles all day long and it got busier each day.

It was wonderful being there for Christmas ~ the atmosphere was even more magical than usual. :wizard: :wizard:

The only thing I would say is bear in mind that I have only been to DLRP in school holidays so my busy and your busy could have different interpretations!! :)

We visited in 2005,2006 and 2007 .
Its seems to get busier every year. This year the park was really crowed on the 25 December.

Maybe the weather is also a factor.
As I go back in my memory in 2005 we had bad weather. It was freezing cold and lots of snow.

We were there 26th - 28th December 2007, and it was busier than last Easter I think!

The atmosphere is magical though, it was a great way to celebrate Christmas, as I always find that time between Christmas and new year a bit flat. From what others have said, Christmas Day is just like any other day during the Disney Christmas Season. :santa:

I was there 20th -24th and it was manic, it got busier every day!

But with advanced planning it doesn't make much difference, we used the EMH to go on the rides for my 7 yr old niece in Fantasyland and then during normal opening hours (at rope drop get outside a ride that will be busy but doesn't have fastpass...like phantom manor) than after this we just spent less time doing rides (grabbed fastpasses for say BTM then lined up for POTC and by the time we had ridden POTC our BTM fastpasses were at the right time slot!) and more time watching shows (there are loads of extra ones at dismas in both parks), also we were doing more "play" things like the maze or the robinson tree and meeting characters!

It was great best time of year to go!

It must have been packed as we were there for Easter and that was the busiest I have ever seen it with all ride 2 hours + for queues:eek:

tbh at such a young age that your dd is I would not take her for the actual Christmas day.

Christmas is so special at that age just being at home and leaving out a mince pie and carrot on Christmas eve and watching them open there presents on Christmas day, it would be a shame to miss out on that as they do grow up so quickly.

I would go a week before(it will be less busy too), as somebody already said they don't do anything extra for Christmas day so you won't be missing out on any Disney christmas magic. I took my DD before christmas when she was 3 and she loved it, she also loved christmas day at home too. I think Disney made her more excited about Santa coming on christmas eve.

Sounds about right, though thankfully we did not have to queue ourselves!

I might be able to agree with that but Christmas this year my parents are going Cuba and my bro and his girlfriend are going Scotland so this is why im thinking of going.

Im not worried about it being mega busy as i think it will be great go go and just soak up the atmosphere, plus most time will be spent watching shows and hanging out in Fantasy land.
