How big is the soup serving at BOG?

I was considering scheduling to use up some "Snack" credits for the DDP by just ordering soup at BOG.

Any idea how many ounces, or say 1 cup, less, more? How filling would you say it would be? Enough to ride over paired with an cupcake or something for dessert? I know satiety is relative to the individual though.

Also, are all the soups sold in Disney about the same time; ie Tomato basil soup at Pinnochia Village Haus, etc?

As per Jon's post, it's a good size portion, for Lunch that and a Cupcake could suffice

I saw the same picture, but without a reference object I know apparent size can be deceiving sometimes angles can make it look larger or smaller!

I guess there is silverware.. lol

I have gotten the french onion soup as an appetizer prior to my meal and still been able to eat my steak. It's about a 4-5 inch wide crock I would say, not sure on the ounces though.

It's not that big in my opinion and I am not a huge eater when I am at Disney (tired + hot = not hungry for me). I had it and the braised pork for lunch and was pleasantly full, though I do think I skipped some of the sides on the pork.

That photo looks smaller than the bowl I had in August at lunch! Mine was so filling that I couldn't eat half of my roast beef sandwich with it. I felt bad leaving so much food, but it was so delicious! I'd go again for it!

I would say the soup is 8-12 oz. with onions and cheese - not enough for meal, but for a quick pick upper!! I get it with the braised pork for lunch and it makes a perfect meal (dh also). We are not large people though. The size bowl has not changed since they opened, and we're here now - looks just like picture
