how are you supposed to report someone when you can't say certain words?

I am new to this so forgive my ignorance...

I was just in VMK central and someone said her age (11), encrypted of course. I tried to report her, but it kept telling me I am using words that are not recognized. I finally was able to send "said her b day" even though she didn't really, only her age.

I just found it frustrating that they still don't allow certain words when you try to report something! Is there any way around that?

when trying to say exactly what they said, I would use contact us.

That way staff knows what you're trying to say.

You have a very good question DazzleMagic. I've wondered the same thing, amd the answer is as clear as mud.
Yes, you can use the Contact Us feature on the VMK home page (at the bottom of the screen), but it never seems to help as responses are rarely given out. I believe that the report feature in the actual game should allow a "free dictionary" so that we could better get our point across. Like you said, saying that the girl said her birthday isn't exactly what happened. The truth in our reports should not be hindered by our limited dictionary.

All you need to do is say -

This player said ' (repeat exactly what they said) ' and this should not be allowed.

I agree we should be able to say what we need without the limit when reporting. What I usually do is just say that they need to check on this peron's chat, signature, whatever because it is not following the VMK values/rules. I usually end up with a response of thank you and we will check into it or the thank you for helping to keep vmk safe and we will look into this matter. Or whatever it says. I don't report to often unless it really needs to like things like that or adult behavior. Ever since reporting things this way I haven't ended up with the stupid response about the button only being for emergencies in a very long time. Plus I can get it out quicker in hopes they will see it quickly enough to do what is needed. While at this point I have no faith in that whole system I would like to think some of it is taken care of when it should be as needed.
