How are we going to use 70 snack credits on our next trip?

DDP, plus five people, plus 7 night trip=70 snack credits. We have used the DDP before. We usually get snacks early in our trip and stock our fridge (e.g., sweets at Goofy's, cupcakes at HS).

But, we are staying Club Level on this trip, so we won't need snacks in our fridge.

Any thoughts on using the snack credits wisely? TIA!

we just used them throughout the parks , then what we had left , we got snacks from downtown Disney . We are still eating Chip and Dale nuts, trail mix, and goofy candy lol
I wish I had gotten more of the nuts

I'm not sure "wisely" would be easy to do with that many credits on top of doing CL. Are you sure you want to have to deal with that much food? Seems like it could be pretty wasteful. I'd probably just plan to use it for everything and not worry about getting the best value at that point. Drinks, treats to eat there, treats to take home. If going during a time like Flower and Garden or Food and Wine use it to taste samples around the world even if you don't eat it all just to get a little taste of everything. Maybe even spread some pixie dust and offer to get a few treats for others in line.

I've stayed AKL Concierge and I don't think I would ever have the DDP on top of that. You get a lot of food from the lounge. I agree with @Dis703. I wouldn't worry about using them "wisely", I would just use them for ice cream, drinks, popcorn, etc while in the parks and then load up on stuff to bring home with any left over credits. If you have kids the take-home snacks can be used as gifts for friends.

Bottles of water or any other drinks are a snack credit. I would stock up on popcorn, nuts, etc. to snack on in the parks. Mickey shaped cookies also make great souvenirs to take to people back home!

These are my thoughts as well. Are you sure they DDP is the best choice if staying CL?

I agree that getting the dining plan may not make much sense if you're staying CL.

I agree and, IMHO, CL is not all that great either.

I agree too, but if convenience is your goal, then indeed get the plan and don't worry about what is left.

Using snack credits are easy though. Look for hot, weary adults and tell them you have extra credits and want to buy them a cold drink. Look for crying little kids and tell their parents you have extra credits and want to buy them a Mickey bar. If you are at food and wine, look for drunken sailors and tell them you have extra credits and want to buy them a cup of coffee. If you are married, find your wife and buy her Chocolate! :tigger:

Be a good deed Dis'er and spread the pixie dust. It makes your day and theirs, believe me. pirate:

We never come home with snacks nor do we have extra meals left. We see somebody and they become family for a meal.

Remember, you're no longer getting a dessert with your QS meal, so getting something sweet after will be one way to use more of those credits.

I always use left over snack credits to bring a little bit of Disney back home...rice krispy treats, gummie candies, Mickey Cheese its, suckers, etc.

Another vote for rethinking the dining plan. It doesn't really make much sense if you're staying CL.

    Epcot is the key:
1> Tea lover? China tea is Snack credit. Good value too
    2> Crepes in France
3> Norwegian bakery - Oh my. You can do a whole meal with double snacks
4> France pastries - Oo la la. nuff said
5> Multiple other QS outlets with unique/good snacks
6> If you are going during Food and Wine, yummmmmmm

I do not do the DDP and would advise you not to with the Club level, but these would be my choices to burn my snack credits if you still do. Hope this helps.
