I'm flying out of Buffalo Sat Dec 12th at 10:15am and I'm not sure what time to leave in the morning. I'm driving from the Toronto area.

I was thinking about leaving at 5am but I'm afraid the lines will be busy with christmas shoppers when I get to the boarder around 7am. Should I be worried? Also which boarder crossing should I go across?

Thanks.

13 days to go and counting!

Have you thought about driving to Buffalo the night before and staying at one of the hotels very close to the Airport, so the next morning you won't need to worry about crossing the border.

Also whenever my family and I have gone to Buffalo for the day to shop we always cross at the Lewiston–Queenston Bridge.

We are also leaving early Dec 12th. We are crossing the peace bridge around 6am. I am not expecting any big delays. A few of my friends went down shopping on black friday and they went across around 8am no linups. I would figure there would be more that day than any other. Peace Bridge has more lanes than the others and is closest to buffalo airport. Enjoy your trip.

Peace Bridge is the way to go. May be a few minutes longer on the map, but there is really little wait crossing (both directions). Queenston/Lewiston for shopping, but Peace Bridge for the airport for sure!

We are leaving for Disney on the 12th as well. Our flight leaves buffalo at 8:30. We are leaving Waterloo at 3:30 in the morning.

Definitely the Peace Bridge - very easy to get to the airport from there. You shouldn't have any wait at 7am, or a very short wait, but nothing to worry about.

Unfortunatly I can't go the night before but I plan on going to bed supper early the night before. I'm not a morning person! :rotfl:

I feel better now that 5am shouldn't be too bad. thankfully its Sat so the traffic shouldn't be too bad. If it were a weekday I would be leaving the night before.

Thanks for all the replies. I love DIS boards!:goodvibes
