This is our first "real vacation" (other than the Jersey Shore every summer) with my DH and DS. We will be in Disney May 21 through May 28. I heard the lines are not too bad the week before Memorial Day. Anybody know???

We typically go in May and the lines are not small, but certainly not long either. We went in August and June (one time each) and overwhelmingly decided that May was the better month. I think largely because schools are still in session, the lines (and crowds) were definately smaller.

We've also gone in September, and it was like a ghost town! We would walk right up to counter service restaurants and place our order, NO LINES! I won't tell you how many times I rode Buzz Lightyear:hyper: ! We plan on being there this year from 5/25 to 6/2, and I have absolutely no qualms about the lines.

I hope I helped put your mind at ease....

I went at the end of May 1998 and the lines were very short on even the most popular rides. As a matter of fact I have never been to Disney and seen shorter lines then I did on that trip.

We were able to ride ToT as fast as we could weave our way back through the empty lines!

We have always gone in may and find the crowds are light.

Early May is better as the crowds build as you approach Memorial Day.

Alot of local schools plan there trips to USF in May so it can be kind of crowded.
