How are the crowds the last week of August?

We've been to WDW during Spring Break and July 4th and have experienced major crowds. Also been in the Fall and late Spring before summer break starts and have seen minimal crowding with walk ons to attractions.

But how are they in late August? We're going August 23-30 and were just curious about the crowds. Even if they're huge, it wouldnt' dissuage or disappoint us. Just really wondering what we can expect.

Crowds are somewhere in between! They are quite manageable...not as light as the fall, but MUCH better than the rest of the summer and other holiday breaks.

We went last year the same time -- and due to the free dining they offered last year -and again this year - crowds were pretty good -- you could not walk onto rides -- had about 20minute to half hour wait for rides - Speed pass came in handy. Hope this helps,
