How are the Alien Saucers on my fellow motion sickness DISers?

Trying to plan our HS day and was wondering how bad the alien saucers are for those with motion sickness.I'm fairly sensitive to any thing that spins so I don't want to try if Others are having issues .

I am very prone to motion sickness on any ride that spins but I have ridden the alien saucers a few times now and it doesn't spin at all..more like a side to side whipping motion. If spinning is your only issue you will have no problem

I just rode it last week. I have a scope patch and a prescription (zofran). I can ride the Scrambler at the fair, and the saucers looked similar so I gave them a whirl. Not my best idea... I felt shaky for a couple of hours after getting off the ride.

My motion sickness comes from more than just spinning. But I know better than to get on the tea cups! It seems to get worse the older I get. There’s several rides I can only do once and a few I don’t do at all. I know everyone is different so I appreciate you sharing your experiences!

Dh gets really sick on fair rides that spin. For example, he really doesn't like the Tea Cups at all, but he had no issues on the Alien Saucers.

My DH gets motion sickness on anything that spins, even the carousel, but he can do AS2 with no problems.

I can’t do anything that spins. Even a merry go round gets me sometimes. Saucers didn’t bother me at all. It wasn’t very fun to us either other than it is very cute. We decided it is a one and done unless it is a 15min or less wait.

I can’t do rides that go in circles like the tea cups but this didn’t bother me. I don’t know if it’s because it wasn’t spinning continuously or not. I enjoyed it

If you can ride Scrambler - I think you will be fine.

I have ridden it's counterpart in CA - Tow Mater - and I think the ride is easier for motion sickness folks than a Scrambler ride. However - it's definitely on the edge of tolerance, I think, for those who struggle with this!

Coming from someone that absolutely can not handle the teacups and can get dizzy on the riding lawn mower mowing around a tree....the saucers are not bad at all.

Ha! That is me. I get nauseous when I’m wrapping Christmas lights around the base of the palm trees at Christmas. There’s only so many times I can go around before I have to stop.
