How are November crowds?

We took our 2 kids to Disneyland the first week of December in 2007 for my daughter's birthday. The wait times for rides were longer than I expected and the park seemed pretty crowded. We are going again this year and I was thinking of going for the week before Thanksgiving week. Anybody been during that time or can advise me about the crowds? We just want to avoid crowds as much as possible--thanks!

I'd say early November would be less crowded for sure.
