How are gasoline prices in your neck of the woods.

$2.47 at Exxon yesterday in Southern NJ.

We can't compete with any of the great prices you all are listing but for the first time in over a decade, gas is below $1/L here (a few cents less than $4/gallon). :drive: Great news for drivers but given that oil prices are alarmingly low right now and that our entire provincial economy is energy-dependent, maybe not so great after all. :scratchin

Got 35 gallons at Smith's in Santa Fe this morning for $1.20/gal. Just love 4X points on gift cards.

The equivalent of $3.59 per gallon here in SE Ontario (our price at the pumps, per litre, was 94.9 cents last night). We haven't seen prices for fuel this low since 2009.

That's why I see so many Ontario plates in our gas stations! :thumbsup2

Yes, sir ::yes:: . Sad to say, but to us....3.49 a gallon is considered a bargain :rolleyes1. I can't imagine paying $2.19 like some other posters have noted. That's what I paid for fuel when I was in college in 1991!!!

Gas dropped to $1.99 a gallon here yesterday. While the low prices are great, my state, an oil producing state, will take a huge hit. Oil revenues make up 50% of the state budget in new monies each year which has essentially been cut in half and could get lower. This will result in cuts to education and increases in state college tuition, among ther things. With DH and I both being teachers and DD a college freshman this year, it's not good news for us. The state's economy here has not recovered from the recession like most states have.

I do love the low gas prices, though!

Costco & Sam's are having a price war in Baton Rouge. Regular was @ $1.86/gal, Premium @ $2.11/gal for members. Most other stations are hovering around $2.20 for regular.

State officials are showing signs of budget concerns here as well, since a fair portion is tied to the price of a bbl of oil. Low prices are good for the general consumer, but not for the thousands here in LA who work in oil-related industries.
