I'll be in the Sarasota area mid-January and thought about stopping by Disney for one night - one park visit. How crowded is it? I would suspect low crowds.

I think we will be in sarasota on a friday.. then leave out Tuesday morning REAL early to get to parks at park opening. stay until close. Get a cheap offsite room to sleep and shower, then head back to NC on Wednesday.

My favorite park is AK - so that's what I'm leaning towards. BUT, I can be talked into the Magic Kingdom quite easily. LOL

If you avoid Presidents’ Day, it should be low to moderate.

I think the PP probably means MLK weekend. But agree, other than that weekend, generally among the lower(ish) times of year.

As posted above, if you avoid MLK day, you should be fine. Especially if you gravitate more to AK than MK. I've been doing WDW during that week for several years now and last January I noted that the weekends/Saturdays particularly were too crowded for me in MK.
