How accurate is Google Pixel time for 8AM bookings?

My old Android phone was off by about 20 seconds, so if I clicked right at 8 am, it would tell me I was too early. I've already missed out on one reservation with my new phone by waiting until 8AM plus 15 seconds; do Google Pixel users click right at 8 AM or how should I time it?

You can use time.gov to get the exact time but that assumes that Disney's systems are also using the exact correct time, which is not a safe assumption.

Do you have access to an actual computer? You're going to have better luck on a proper computer with ethernet connection than relying on a phone's wifi, even excellent wifi.

Go on the playstore and download Atomic Clock & Watch Accuracy publisher is Tomas Hubalek. Been using this for years to know exactly when to click for reservations.

I get that this might provide some peace of mind but it doesn't actually achieve anything. Because you know who ISN'T using an atomic clock? Disney.

Being perfectly accurate isn't the same thing as perfectly matching Disney's system because Disney's system isn't perfectly accurate itself.

Do what you think is right for you. I got the atomic clock app based on reqs from posts and since then for me I have more success than I had prior not using it

Yea, agree. I've had more success with it. And if Disney isn't using it as their standard, they're using something darn close to it. When the clock turns to the top of the hour and I hit refresh, I'm almost always moving ahead with a Disney reservation!

Time is provided by a synchronization with the carrier in most modern phones. Some carriers only sync once a day, week, or month, so some phones drift a few seconds fast or slow. Using an atomic clock, like tick.usno.navy.mil as your time source is going to give you the most accurate time, assuming you have a solid internet connection.

What have we allowed to happen to us that we feel we have to have our phones/watches/clocks synchronized to world/atomic clocks to the split second in order to get a Disney dinner or room reservation or worse yet invest hours of time and planning and lose sleep in order to get a reservation for a 1 1/2 minute ride on a fake motorcycle at the precise time and date we want it? It’s absolute insanity … we wonder why more than half the country is on meds … Come on Man!!
