How accurate are the wait times in the new Disneyland app?

Just wondering if anyone in the parks can let us know how accurate the wait times are?

Also, if they aren't accurate, which app seems to be the most accurate? Thanks

Since it's an official app, it should pull the wait times from the same place the big board on Main Street does. So it should be just about as accurate as the signs at the individual rides are (I'm not sure what the lag is between when it gets changed at the ride and when the board reflects that).

I was wondering that also! But since they aren't just user inputted like the other 2 apps I have, Mousewait and Disneyland Wait Times, I assume Disney is refreshing them constantly. I watched for a few minutes and some got lower. It would be great if someone at the park could report if they matched the posted wait times at the rides.

I can test it out and report back but I'm not going for another couple of weeks.

Curious for feedback, but I'd suspect these are posted wait times consistent with those seen in the parks.

Fantasyland times aren't too bad right now....except for PP of course

Toontown (everything) and IASW only 5 min? It's 10:45. I wonder if that's right?

It's too bad it doesn't show if FPs are still available and return times for them.
That's pretty poor. Half of the information you're looking for by using the app is still missing. Looks like Ask Otto is still the way to go for the most accurate info. You would think by now they would have available an on-line equivalent of Ask Otto.

You would think. The info comes from the same place so why it's not implemented remains a mystery. The very least a link for Ask Otto. If you can link your AP and tickets, it would make sense to link FPs as well. Maybe it's coming but I won't hold my breath. Disney has a habit of creating apps and then abandoning them.
