How accurate are the prices?

I would really like to budget out some of the meals we are going to pay cash for. I have looked at the menus at Allears.net and I wonder how accurate the prices are? For instance, our dining plan does not kick in until our second day there and we have a character dinner scheduled for that night that we are paying cash for. I just don't want any really big surprises when the bill comes. Thanks!

Her information is generally pretty good. I usually add 10% on to be sure I am covered.

Keep in mind the menus often change faster than the postings, depending on the restaurants. The menus you find on line will give you an idea. But don't plan heavily on them as menus change periodically. Just use them as a rule of thumb.

Don't forget that a subpart of this message board is wdwinfo.com. I find that I like its' menus slightly better than allearsnet.

For my trip this past May I was on the DxDDP. Before I left, I checked the menus both here on the DIS and also on allears, in order to get an idea of how much tips would be. Once down there, I found things on the menus that were not on the listed menus and at two different restaurants the items I had planned on were no longer on the menus.

OT: Le Cellier had a wonderful cold spicy watermelon soup on the menu that is not on any of the listed menus.
