:wave2: I have a ps at Nine Dragons for lunch next month. What are your opinions??? I also have Chef Mickeys, which we don't miss, and Ohana's, which this will be our first time. Any restaurants that you have to go to? Thanks!!!:earsgirl:

At Nine Dragon's twice both times was for lunch DW and I enjoyed it, service was great and food let's say ok not great but ok and in my opinion overpriced even by Disney standards. We have two dining venues at Epcot that we MUST DO each trip are LeCellier and Teppanyaki.Have a magical vacation at WDW.::yes:: :wave2:

average.... not bad but not great. our last trip to Nine Dragons was in Oct 2003.

we probably won't be back.. not because its not good, but because we can always think of other places we'd rather eat at.

i say, try it out and you'll know what you prefer for your next visit! good luck!

our new "must go to restaraunt" at WDW is the yachtsman steakhouse! if you like steak, i highly recommend this place!

Hi,

We liked Nine Dragons we went for dinner & it was good. You'll have to report what you thought of lunch! Enjoy!

You will like Nine Dragons if you like Chinese food. That is, depending on what kind of Chinese food you like. If you like to go to a Chinese all you can eat buffet, Nine Dragons will knock you out - it is far above that level. But, if you have ever eaten at a P.F. Chang's or similar neochinese place, it may not live up. The food is good, but it doesn't leave you feeling it was the best chinese food you've ever had.

Thanks everyone! :D I think we may give it a shot. We did find an absolutely wonderful Chinese restaurant close to home.(small and not an all-you-can-eat) We do love LeCellier and I have tried Teppanyaki and loved it.(my husband isn't crazy over Japanese food)

time101..I will check out Jennifer and Dave's report. Thanks!

DrKnow 77: Where is Yachtsman steakhouse?

DH and I ate here on our honeymoon trip. DH wasn't feeling well and needed to eat, so our dining experience was not so much a choice as a necessity at that time.
Our food was very good and the atmosphere was great. The prices were high, but we didn't mind because we left satisfied.
It wasn't until I started to read these boards that I learned many people didn't care for Nine Dragons.
Our experience here was a good one.:)

The Yachtsman Steakhouse is at the Yacht Club resort. The Yacht Club resort is within walking distance of EPCOT, if you exit through the international gateway. This is easily our favorite Disney place to eat.

Someone made a good point about Nine Dragons. If you are used to the "buffett" style chinese restaraunts or those "rinky-dink" strip mall chinese restaraunts that are becoming so popular now-a-days, Nine Dragons will be paradice for you. I suppose they do have good food, but I thought it was kind of expensive. We have a fabulous, authentic chinese restaraunt where I'm from, so the Nine Dragons wasn't my favorite place. I would definetly check it out though!

Good luck!
