How about March weather?

I've seen a lot of posts about Jan, Feb weather and if it's warm enough to swim etc. How about March? Is it as iffy as J & F in Orlando? How about the Eastern cruise climates? How did you March cruisers find it?

Hi, We did the Eastern in March 2003. The dates were 22-29, and the weather was excellent. From the friday we arrived in Florida, straight through our entire cruise, all we saw was sunshine and 80 temperatures. I do not know if this is the norm for Florida or the ports, but it was well appreciated.

we went in march 2004...the end of march to early april. the weather was very nice! did western. was in shorts & tanks most of the time! we had perfect weather! not sure how it is in eastern...

Went March 6, 2004 - Eastern. It was a picture perfect (80's to low 90's) in St. Maarten and St. Thomas. It was mid to high 70's at CC. I thought it would be too cool to enjoy the beach, but it was perfect as well.

we went march 5th western of 04 and it was pretty cold but we still had a good time...cold meaning upper 60's thru lower 80's

We've been three times between late Febraury and mid-March. The water off CC was not swimming-pool warm, but once you were wet it was very refreshing. We did shorts on land and on the ship. I think the only concession we made was grabbing a windbreaker before heading out in the evenings.

And if you like to sleep with your stateroom door open, the breeze off the ocean is really nice.
