How about a roll call of those attending the annual meeting

I have registerd to go. How long does it last and how may people usually show up?

Good to see members actually attending.

Please Do ask questions....
Don't be shy and make sure you get an answer, not blah blah blah.

Unfortunately, I've never heard a DVC annual meeting answer that wasn't blah, blah, blah.:rotfl:

I have noticed that the Q&A part of the meeting is at the end and the always seem to run out of time. Members who express how they love the DVC are given more time, Members who are dissatisfied, tend to get cut off.

It is a very controlled dog and pony show. Any follow up that I was promised never happened.

Well see if things have changed with Claire.

What time does it start, and how long does the member portion last? I realize it should be in the members best interest to attend being owners but, is it really worth the time spent away from the parks in a once a year trip to WDW?

Trying to decide whether or not to attend since I have nothing to contribute. Can I just read about it?

Thanks

Diane will you be posting any of that information? Anyone else that's going? I know Webmaster Doc used to but don't know if he goes every year.

Barring any insurmountable technical issues, I should be posting to Twitter throughout the meeting and a recap afterward.

I have noticed that the Q&A part of the meeting is at the end and the always seem to run out of time.

The meeting runs about 3 hours as it is. I don't remember exactly what time the Q&A began last year but it seemed to be an appropriately generous portion of the meeting. And I believe those who still had questions were invited to stay afterward and speak to DVC reps in the lobby.

Members who express how they love the DVC are given more time, Members who are dissatisfied, tend to get cut off.

I didn't get that sense last year although I will pay more attention to it this time. My takeaway was that people who had a beef with DVC tried to monopolize the Q&A. Members were respectfully asked to limit themselves to one question. Those who were cut off were people who tried to throw out 2-3 different questions from the start, and then ask more follow-ups as responses were provided.
