How about a chewy chocolate brownie recipe?

Have you ever gone to a potluck or whatever and had the best chewy, fudgey brownie? Gosh, I went to Cici's restaurant, if you are familiar with them, a couple of weeks ago and they have the best brownies. Does anyone out there have a good recipe to share? I need a FIX!

We use the Hershey's mix from Sam's club. Cook those in an airbake pan and they rival the Blue Ribbon Brownies at Applebee's!

They have like three or four different kinds of chocolate pieces in them.

I think if you ndercook brownies, they stay on the chewy side. Also look for recipes that have pudding in them. They tend to be denser & moister.

A few days late, but I've been making these brownies since I was a kid. They're still my absolute favorites!

Nestle's Double Chocolate Brownies

I usually omit the nuts, and Imzadi's right, if you undercook them slightly or for the lesser amount of time stated in the recipe, they come out nice and chewy. We liked to spread cream cheese on top when they were done.

I got that same Hershey's mix at Costco. I have a pretty good brownie recipe, but we like the Hershey better! I think it's "triple chocolate" or something like that.

I've got to agree with the Hershey's recomendation. Actually, I think they are made by Betty Crocker and are called Hershey's Ultimate Fudge recipe. After trying these, I won't be making them from scratch anymore!
But if you really want to make them from scratch, the secret to getting them dense and chewy is to have a very thick, dense batter; almost like cookie dough. And do not over cook. If you have too much oil or butter, the batter will be runny and the brownies will come out very soft but not chewy. Does that make sense?
