I wish I had been at the Adventurer's Club that night! I enjoyed my experience there in March and I can't wait to go back in December. I didn't recognize any of the people playing the characters from the last time I was there. Still your TR!

Well finally we were at our last full day in Florida.

We decided to start our day by heading over to MK. Despite the late night at the AC the night before, we were up early and got there just in time for a few character photos. When we were at MK a few days earlier and were in line to get our pics taken with Gepetto & Pinocchio we noticed Horace Horsecollar over by City Hall which was one we really wanted. Unfortunately he was gone by the time we got over there and we checked back several times throughout the day with no luck. This time we got there when Clarabelle Cow was posing and were just getting to the front of the line when she had to go…we waited in line for a few minutes and when she returned she had brought Horace with her.

Next stop was a few photos at Tony’s Town Square

We had already taken quite a few castle pics this trip but figured we had to take a few more

We had to stop in at Sir Mickey’s for this pic of the giant lifting the roof

Our next stop was a final ride on POTC for this trip. We ended up in the back row of a boat and a large and very noisy family occupied the two rows ahead of us. They just would not shut up despite being asked politely and they were literally drowning out the soundtrack. We looked at each other and realized what had to be done…”1...2...3...IT’S A WORLD OF LAUGHTER, A WORLD OF TEARS…” sung very off key.

They got the message.

Next stop we grabbed a fast pass for Peter Pan then took a stroll over by the teacups where we took these

By the time we got the character photos, it was time to slowly make our way to Peter Pan, stopping to take this picture of Pooh’s house

We got to Peter Pan and hopped on

Afterwards, we decided to head to Liberty Square for one last ride on HM before they shut it down for the refurb. We’ll be riding it again in 2 months but we’re both still nervous about the changes they’ll be making to it.

We were getting hungry so we decided we’d try getting into LTT without an ADR. We weren’t too optimistic but figured we’d give it a shot. Sure enough we were seated within 5 minutes and the food was fantastic!

Afterwards we took a stroll through Frontierland and ran into Brer Bear and Brer Fox. They were just finishing up but we were told they’d be back in 20 minutes so we decided to just grab a bench and wait. As we were waiting we were accosted by this duck who would not leave us alone the entire time.

Finally they returned and we were able to escape from Donald’s hungry cousin

We stopped to meet Peter Pan & Wendy next to POTC. They were both really in character and absolutely fantastic (although alabamagirl admittedly looks 'Wendier')

Then as we made our way through Adventureland we ran into the Genie by the Flying Carpets

Finally we got back to the castle and took a few last pics

We left the MK, stopping briefly at the end of Main Street USA to take one last look back before heading towards the ferry to take us back to the resort so we could finish our packing

My family would have done the same thing if we had encountered the chatty family in Small World

After finishing up our leisurely last day at the MK, we headed back to the resort. We had been at POP for 6 nights, yet we hadn't taken a tour around the grounds, so decided it would be a good time to do that, especially since we were leaving the next morning. We grabbed our camera and our refillable mugs and headed out …

Well this is it…our final installment…

Here’s the rest of the pics we took around the resort on the afternoon of our last day. We had decided within an hour of our arrival that we’d have to go for a walk one day before we left to take these pics…sure enough we procrastinated and only took them at the end of our trip. Procrastination is such a bad habit of ours…we’ll start doing something about it next week…

That night we headed to DTD for one last stroll around. Since we had to bring the rental back full of gas and we had filled up just outside the MK earlier on, we decided to just take the bus.

We just spent a relaxing evening strolling around and popped in to Cookes of Dublin for some fish & chips. The food there was quite good though we thought the portion sizes were somewhat small for the price. We bought a few last minute gifts and headed back to the resort around 10:00 where we finished our packing. We took one last stroll around and enjoyed the resort after dark. We shot a few late night pics when we first arrived but haven’t posted them but here they are since we have room…

We didn’t get much sleep and 4:30 rolled around quickly. Within a short time we were ready and we headed out, amazed at how quiet the resort is that time of morning. We got to the airport and returned our rental, grabbed our bags and began the long trek home. Writing this last update, we still feel that sad feeling we get the morning we leave even though exactly 8 weeks from today we’re on our way back to Orlando.

Our May trip was a lot of fun and we’ve really enjoyed sharing it with you all. We really appreciate all the comments we’ve received and thank you all for your interest. To us, writing the installments is a lot of fun as it feels like we’re sitting around with a few pints and sharing our vacation with a group of friends. We really hope you’ve enjoyed our photos and had a few laughs along the way.

It feels a little depressing to be wrapping this up but we’re not disappearing. We’ve still got our pre-trippie and will be updating that a lot more frequently now that we’re finished this one. Hope to see you all over there!!

Besides, with us having only 8 weeks until our October trip, there’s only a little over 10 weeks until the October Trip Report which will be a blast. That trip will be over twice as long and we have a lot of things planned so that Trip Report is going to be a great one!
