How “spinn-y” are the Alien Saucers?

Sadly as DH and I have aged we have a hard time handling the spinning rides (like the teacups). My vestibular system is just not what it used to be! Ha!

How spinn-y would you say the saucers are? I think we could handle a few spins at a time, but more than 3-4 would probably not be a pretty sight.

We are good with all other thrill rides, but nonstop spinning gives us cause for pause.

Thanks!

I wouldn't characterize the ride as spinny. You get whipped from side to side, but you never really get spun. It always counter whips, so if you go left first, then it goes right and so on. Everyone has different limits, but I don't think this should give you any issues.

not as spinny as the tea cups, more whippy. My problem was how bumpy it was through the whip section. Felt like you were riding the rumble strip on the highway. My daughter liked it, but I'm not a fan.

This! It was very bumpy which surprised me. I expected a smoother ride.

Someone beat me to it, but I was going to describe it as "whippy" as well. You basically whip from direction to direction, but with a slight pause in-between. I would not imagine it would be something that would give you the same issues as the tea cups...

I also wondered-partly because I noticed at 60 days, there were no FP+s available for SDD but several times available for the Alien Saucers. I wimped out, though, and went for TSMM. Maybe Alien Saucers will be available stand-by. I'm going near the end of the day and hoping the crowds clear out for Fantastic, leaving Alien Saucers with short waits.

If you don't mind me asking, how many days is your trip and what day were you looking for that FP?

I wasn’t afraid of it too ok, but very gentle and you don’t get dizzy at all. It’s more gentle than the Tea Cups if that helps.

We went at RD last week and were able to walk right onto the Alien Saucers. We stayed on 3 times because there was almost nobody in line. They didn't even have us get off. We could've stayed more but wanted to go do TSMM.

It's 6 days. I was looking on Saturday, but OK with not getting a FP+ this trip-SDD and FoP may be easier to get after a couple years. We're DVC members so I'm sure we'll be going again.

Whippy makes me think of Primeval Whirl. How do they compare to that?
