Because I didn't know about it. I was taking Evan to the bathroom at the time. Look at that, even I learn something new by reading my TR!

Well, in that case, I guess I can forgive you overlooking that detail. It is kind of rare for you to visit a bathroom and not have pictures or a story of some sort to go along with it though.

But the TR directly attributes Scotty. It sounds cuter when he says it, I promise.

It has to sound cuter. When a middle age-ish man says it, it's just creepy.

That's just the way he is. My DW and I went out on a date recently. When we came back, the babysitter told us that she had announced to the kids when it was bedtime. Then Scotty jumped off the couch and said, "Wait! You haven't seen the Scotty Show yet!"

Does he charge admission? And does he smash stuff like Gallagher?

Maybe, but I'm not responsible for the smell in here.

It was hot out. Evan drank a lot of water, Powerade, and Beverly. He had to pee.

The crowds at Epcot this day were insane!

Actually, they were probably normal sized crowds - Soarin' stand by line was running about 90 minutes, Test Track was around 50-60. I just happen to turn around at just the right time and saw a few people crossing in front of the fountain. As soon as they cleared it, I snapped off a quick shot with not one person in it. Remember kids - it's better to be lucky than good.

And speaking of people, as I was taking that shot, two of my favorite people were getting posed with a certain Hedge-y donkey with an inferiority complex.

You know what my favorite part of Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival is? The flowers smell so wonderful...

I am not even going to go there.......

This always cracked me up when our boys were young. Where do you think you are going without us? And we DO NOT run!

I will give them credit, though. They didn't just sign Madison's book, take a picture and move on. They thought Madison's hair beads were absolutely fascinating.

Barry, you are just an updating machine lately. Sorry I'm late...but I had jury duty yesterday, ordered MNSSHP tickets today (our oldest bought them for his dad for Father's Day), changed some of our ADR's, added one, etc. Comments in red above!

We had all sorts of Mickey & Minnie stuff at our wedding. A few snow globes, some decorative plates, the knife and cake server. But we're not over the top or anything.

I waited until twilight to take this picture because I though it gave it would really pop with the lit up Lego sign in the background. And when we passed it the first time I had already stopped to take a few other pictures and we were on our way to Earl of Sandwich and I was hungry. Either way you want to look at it...

Finally, we headed back to Kidini Village, where the lanterns where just calling out for their picture to be taken. I obliged.

Whew! Good thing. Poor lanterns....just hanging around and waiting for someone, anyone, to take their picture....

They have several widescreen TVs mounted in the queue showing old Disney cartoons to entertain the ... kids ... while you wait. What I thought was cool was that instead of having a black bar on either side of the cartoon to fill up the space on the widescreen TV, they pushed the cartoon to one side, and put trivia about the cartoon, director, voice actor, etc on the other side.

LOVE it!! What a great idea! I'd watch that even if I wasn't waiting in line. (Does that mean I'm a nerd? Wait...on second thought....don't answer that...)

(And before you get all high and mighty, claiming that what I did is not only child abuse, but potentially cruel and unusual punishment, let me remind you that Bambi is a social worker, and informed me that while what I did was morally questionable, it was more than likely legal.)

And it appears that Captain_Oblivious has engrained this phrase in my head from his trip report, because every time I see these two, that's what I think. In Hollywood Studios they wear 1940's LA Fashion. In Tomorrowland, they wear space age dancing outfits. On the Cruise ships the have sailor hats and shirts. But, appearing now at Epcot, Ladies and Gentlemen:

Well....really....you can blame Scotty.....you can blame him for a lot. It's really helpful.

While I normally wouldn't get to upset by this little bit of Disney Magic for that little girl, they pushed it too far. Way too far. Vidia and Rosetta came out, and we all walked up the path to where we were supposed to wait. The little girl started dancing around and playing with the two Fairies. Fine, great, I'm glad you're have a special moment. Every time the little girl would start walking back to her stroller, her mom would say "go show them your dance" or "go show them your other moves". Repeatedly. For probably close to 10 minutes. Meanwhile, Madison is standing there, in the hot sun, watching all of this and waiting patiently for her turn. And you know that no matter how awesome her interaction with them is, it will pale in comparison to this precious little snowflake and her spotlight loving mother. (End of rant)

I had jury duty 29 years ago and did a murder trail at 26th and Califonia (not a nice area). This time it was 10 minutes from our house. I was there for five hours, but no one was ever called (all three trials decide to go to "bench trial!).

Yes, yes it is. This was the trip we had planned since last year. Our April trip was a surprise - even to us. We're driving down and staying with Bambi's parents to keep the cost down.

Yes, we're planning on being down there in July. Looking forward to it!

Well loyal reader(s), I've come to the conclusion that this trip report will not be finished before I leave on Friday afternoon. I hope to get one or two more updates in, depending on how hard I have to work at, well, work.
I do fully intend to finish when I get back in early July, so please don't go away! Well, it's ok to get up and go to the bathroom or maybe fix yourself a snack or something, but don't forget about me!
