What housekeeping services will we receive for a four night stay in a studio at the BCV?

On the fourth day you are there (count to four includes arrival date), and thus the day before you leave, they will come in, tidy up somewhat, empty trash, and replace towels, soaps etc.

They will not replace soaps. It's called a Trash and Towel Day. They will empty the trash, and change out the towels. You don't get extra soap unless you pay for it. (With that said, some mousekeepers will give you extras, but I wouldn't go there expecting to get them).

Let's go to the "book"

Trash & Towel (page 74 Member Guidebook)

Empty the trash & put new liners in the trash bins.
Provide fresh bathroom linens.
Replace facial tissue, paper towels and toilet paper.
Replenish coffee, sugar, cream and sweeteners.
Replenish dishwashing liquid, dishwasher detergent, sponges, and laundry detergent as needed.

There are additional garbage bags in the bottom of all cans. If you like, you can empty the trash yourself (very easy) and replace the bags.

I just thought of something....we are going to be staying in a studio in January. I know we don't have a washer/dryer in our unit, but there are complimentary washer/dryers on site. Is laundry detergent provided, or should I bring my own?

Thanks!

[This is based on OKW, but I believe it's the same as at BCV.] There is a vending machine for detergent, but it's pretty pricey. If you're driving down, I would BYO.

Pam OKW,

Thanks for posting from the book. We stayed in a 1 BR at BCV in July, and they definitely DID NOT replace the laundry soap. Now I feel ripped off!

Is there enough TP to get you through until the trash and towel day? Do you call mousekeeping if you are in danger of running out, or do you bring and extra roll?

OK, so now I'm reading too much into this.

There should be at least one extra roll of TP in the unit. Whenever you think you are going to run out, just ask HK for more. They will also supply the tissues and the paper towels.

PamOKW - thanks for your response. DH just asked me the same question this morning. I guess he was reading through all of our literature and wanted some clarification. We will be there for 7 nights in June so I knew that Mousekeeping would come in on the 4th day. I will bring extra laundry detergent though rather than pay Disney's price.

May I suggest you bring those TIDE tablets for the laundry. I brought them down in July and they worked great. They were easy to pack, since we were flying down, and I didn't have to worry about them spilling. We also put a couple of dryer sheets in the suitcases. It made the clothes smell nice and fresh when we arrived.
