For those that have stayed onsite , especially those that have stayed at POR or the value ones...(though I assume all onsite hotels have the same rules)... when is the housekeeping done for the rooms... meaning i have read all over that people come back to their resorts to nap/relax....come and go .... has it ever interferred with the housekeeping and cleanup in your room??

Personally I would not want to come back to hang out in my room and find that housekeeping is in the middle of their work !!

any tips or experiences....??

TIA !

It can vary depending how many rooms need to be cleaned, how many Mousekeepers are working on a given day at a given resort, where your room is in relation to where your Mousekeeper starts her day...

You can always call (there's a designated button on your room phone) as you're leaving the room and ask for your room to be cleaned early.

I went back to my room one day around 2 - who'd think I need a nap at my age? - and my room hadn't been done yet. I called and asked them NOT to bother that day, and I put the 'Privacy Please' card in the door lock. When I woke up and opened the door to leave - the Mousekeeper had left a bag of supplies hanging on the door handle!

After you check in and make it to your room, call Housekeeping and ask them to clean your room the same time each day. We do it each time we go and have never had any problems. I think they are happy to do it!:goodvibes
