Housekeeping and dishes?

We will be staying at AKL CL so we will receive daily housekeeping. Does housekeeping do anything with dishes? We wouldn't leave a full load of dirty dishes in the sink but if they were rinsed off, would they load or unload them to and from the dishwasher or anything? Will we get dish soap everyday so we don't need to worry about bringing any?

I would just rinse and put them in the dishwasher ourselves. They may or may not do it but they will leave soap. During our AKV CL stays the housekeeping service was inconsistent. One day they didn't show and a couple of nights, no turn down. In a studio there once they turned off our empty refrigerator, it defrosted and made a water puddle across the floor.

Yes, but they are staying CL with daily mousekeeping so IMO it's a valid point. I would rather just load the dishwasher and not depend on mousekeeping to do it.

Even with daily housekeeping I doubt they are supposed to wash your dishes or clothes. OTOH, at timeshares where daily housekeeping is included and a tip expected, they often do the dishes even though everyone I've seen said they would not (MX & Aruba).
