We just closed today on AKV.

Thanks to all of you who gave us advice. It made the decision process much, much easier to navigate.

To the TSS and all the moderators who run these boards---Bravo Zulu. (I'll wait a while to explain that one---I bet there are some Navy or Marine Corps folks out there who might want to do the honors for me). These boards turned out to be a wonderful asset.

Welcome Home and congratulations - hope you enjoy your DVC for many years to come.. :cool1:

:welcome: It's one of the best decisions I ever made, my family loves DVC! Enjoy! and here's to planning your 1st trip home.

In the military phonetic alphabet, the letter "B" is pronounced "Bravo," and "Z" is "Zulu."

For hundreds of years, ships have sent messages to each other via semaphore flags. There's a specific flag for each letter in the alphabet.

When one ship wanted to say "Good job" to another, it would fly the B and Z, or Bravo and Zulu, flags.

Ever since, sailors routinely say "Bravo Zulu" or "BZ" to each other, as a way of recognizing good work.

The Disboards have done good work for my family and I. Hence, BZ!

(Yes, I'm Army---but I've been blessed to work with many sailors in my lifetime).

:cheer2:Congratulations and Welcome Home! I hope you will enjoy many trips for many years to come.

Welcome to the club:thumbsup2
