Can anyone tell me about their experience at the House of Blues Gospel Brunch? I am considering adding it to our first Adults Only Disney Trip:cool1:. We love gospel music and lived in Louisiana for several years. It sounds like it would be right up our alley. I can not find pictures or reviews of the brunch. Is it worth the time it will take out of our day at one of the parks?

We went to the Gospel Brunch several years ago and REALLY enjoyed it. We were seated at long tables with other parties. The music was very well done, and the buffet was one of the best I'd ever seen. I highly recommend it. :thumbsup2

done the GB in Myrtle Beach and Orlando. The musical experience was similar. Orlando had a better and wider food selection - and higher cost.

The Gospel Brunch will get you going on a Sunday motning and I highly recommend it.

I did a mini review on the dining review boards just yesterday I think with a few pictures of some of the food. We really enjoyed the show, but the food was just ok to us. But if you like Louisiana food you will probably enjoy it!! We just thought it had too much creole/cajun seasoning but I overheard the lady sitting behind us say it was the best buffet she had ever been to so it all depends on individual taste. The show was great. I called the restaurant direct to purchase tickets saving a few dollars off the vendor ticket price on their website. Will try to post a picture of the seating. There are tables for 2 or larger round shared tables.

Here is a pic of the larger round tables:

These are the tables for two:

The only problem I had with our table (for 2) was that it was very small & really-really close to the tables on either side. Thankfully it was not fully booked and the couple on one side of us opted to move to share a big table with others, so we slid our table down a lot cause I could not even move without disturbing the gentleman next to me. I loved that it was a tall table but the stool (thankfully with a back) did not have the little foot bar in the front, only on the sides. So I ate kinda sideways & when the show started I just leaned back against the wall so I could have the foot bar to prop on while facing the front. I also noticed that the backs of the chairs at the bigger tables leaned back a lot and no one seemed to be leaning back. :confused3

But like I said before the show was great and well worth it.

The Gospel Brunch is totally worth the money. It is definitely a must-do for us since we miss church service that day. The food is great! I love seeing J. L. Cash and Praise perform. I think they are the best at the Gospel Brunch.:thumbsup2
