Just read this from another poster. They go to restaurant dot com. Buy a $25 gift card for $10, must spend $35 at the restaurant.. Easy way to get a discount of $15 on a meal

We did this in November, and it worked great. Restaurant dot com often has 80% off sales, so we were able to get a certificate for $2!!!!

Actually you can usually get the $25 gift card for $2. They have specials all the time for 80% off. Just sign up and wait for an email. We do this everytime time we go to disney with House of Blues. I think they even have $50 gift cards now for $6(I think). You just have to spend $100 at dinner.

Right now the promo code for 80% off is MOM in honor of Mother's Day :goodvibes

DH and I had their BBQ ribs with the coupon in Jan. and it was very good.

Don't ever pay full price for the gift certificates on restaurants.com. They frequently run promotions for 70 or 80% off.

Just make sure you read the fine print. Some restaurants require that you spend a certain amount, exclude alcohol etc, etc...

Do you know if they will accept more than one certificate. I purchased 3 $25.00 cert's, when the cert printed it noted that only one can be used per person per month. I didn't know that until I purchased and printed. On the info page it just noted that you must spend $35.00.

No, 1 certificate per table in a one month period. So even if you are eating with another couple and you each have your own certificate if you are sharing a table you can only use one.

we just returned from our visit to the House of the Mouse and we used our GC there and had no issues......two bucks for 25 dollars off was well worth it...we had voodoo shrimp with rosemary corn bread and hubby had a bluesburger and fries..and we both had a ceasar salad....and we also had two cokes......we were very satisfied with our meals..Next time I will get the meatloaf which my DIL loves and can make at home now......

Yep we've done it. To the OP, no you can't use more than 1 cert per table or per person, per month. There's a ton of fine print with these, make sure to read it all before you buy.

We paid $6 for the $50 GC. We had to spend $100 prior to alcoholic beverages & tip. Not hard to do with 3 males that only order steak!

We had lunch there today

the nice server also said that they have happy hour specials - half price appys and drink specials - 3-5 and 10 to closing i think, the coupon is good then also

had voodoo shrimp - LOVE LOVE LOVE this dish!! the rosemary cornbread sits on top of the shrimp in a yummy sauce., so good!

Hubby had catfish fingers, also comes with sweet potato fries.

:woohoo:

I am thinking about this for my family of 5, 2 Adults, 1 tween and 2 kids.

I can't find a stinkn' menu with PRICES.

Should I get the $50 of $100 or the $25 off $35.

I love it when they go 90% twice a year. Last time I purchase 15 total for all different place. They are awesome !

I used the code MAY and got 80% off, purchased thru Discovershop and earned 20% cash back. I wish I did know details, hard pressed to find it on the web site. It appeared when I printed the cert's. I did some searching by going to the site map and terms, then read it. It would be great if it had been on the home page. At best I'm losing $4.00, I loose more to the Ice Cream man!

They don't expire, so you can always save extras for another trip or use them closer to home. You could also give them with a gift to a friend.
