House Guests coming in 13 hours....

and I still have to clean the bedrooms and do some laundry! I have procrastinated so long on this... very busy with work this week, and just plain worn out. Luckily the flight was changed and instead of arriving at OIA at 9am, they are arriving at 10:30am, so I have until 10am to CLEAN. I might be up all night... good thing we are hitting MK until last afternoon/evening!

I wish the wizard could wave his magic wand or someone would sprinkle some and help me out!

The upside is - we are so excited that my DGreatNephew6 is coming to visit with his "Mom Mom"- (my sister) for his first ever visit to our house and "THE WORLD"!

my mother the clean freak is coming thursday evening for a few days. I just starting cleaning tonight. I cleaned the dining/living room. woopie. Early tomorrow morning cleaning 1 bathroom and 1 bedroom.

Tomorrow afternoon down stairs half bath, laundry room and family room. Sunday I have to clean kitchen and other two bedrooms. Then wed night sweep, swish bathrooms, etc bake for first holy communion. I have to find time to go to the store and shop for kids for easter. We have all been sick for a week at my house.

My sister is the organizational/minimalist "freak" as well.

Her last visit that she stayed at my house last May - was to help do some painting, but I would get up in the morning (she works 2nd shift,so her sleep pattern is different then mine) and my cabinets would be re-arranged! We stayed up one night until 2am cleaning my office, shredding paper, etc.... it was kind of fun.

She was here in November - stayed at CBR, but was at my house on two different afternoons - one she chopped out a hedge in the front of my house, and trimmed my palms, and the other... hmmm - we celebrated an early Christmas, so I think she was otherwise occupied that day!

She just has trouble "sitting still" -

I'm hoping since she is bring DGN - that she will have other things to occupy her!!! Gotta love her, but the pressure - oy - My house is by no means dirty (How Clean is your House or Clean Sweep material), but I do work full time (at home - so office can be a nightmare depending on the week), have DD, and several pets, so there is clutter and things that are out of place!!! This time of year the weather is too awesome to spend my time of in the house!

I'm still sitting here.. but getting up right now!

We'll do food shopping on the way home from the airport to make sure we get the right stuff!
