Stupid question here-----

With all of us still planning on going at various times, with prices just as high.....do they truly need to cut hours of people living from paycheck to paycheck?

I noticed that easter week epcot closes at 9pm, its been 11pm for the past 3 years

Thanks for posting the link to the information. It appears to me that the bookings for the first two weeks of March must be really down compared to years past.

The only one that knows for sure what is booked is Disney. Just because you still may be planning on going many others might not be.

Is it good business to stay status quo if the resort bookings and tourism in general is down?

The park hours are contingent on tourists coming into the park that are not staying just at the Disney resorts. It seems like there have been hotels begging for folks to stay indicating that overall tourism is down in Orlando. While it is a shame to cut working people's hours, it is better than having to let them go altogether.

We were at Epcot over President's Day weekend and it was pretty empty-we walked onto Test Track and only waited 20 minutes at the longest for any ride. It was great, but I wondered how they can run the park with that few people.
