Hours changed at MK...Need Advise

The April 25th hours have been changed to 9:30pm. I have a ps for California Grill at 7:30 Wishes will now be at 9:30. Should I try to change my ps to a later time, such as 8:00? Is two hours too early to be there before Wishes.

hhhhmmmm......that is a good question. it might be worth a try. but don't cancel the PS until you have secured a later one. another thing to keep in mind is the party size. if it just you and 1 or 2 others, then it might be too early. but if it is a larger party the timing might be just right. this is one of the really hard plan aspects of wdw--dining and timing of fireworks!!! good luck

Check in and make your 'wishes to see Wishes' known at the podium. I have seen CG get very crowded and all the folks waiting to get tables back up into the lounge as those with earlier PSs linger to keep their table "too long" just because they have shifted the fireworks to later than first published. Better to be too early, be very clear on what you want, and linger over a pre-dinner drink as you wait for the perfect table.

May I also add that chances are you WILL wait for a table. Each time we have eaten at CG we have waited at least a few minutes, and usually longer - several times with just two of us, and once with a party of four.

I would just keep the P.S. and linger a bit at the table. Believe me, you will not be the only one, and a meal like this usually takes a while anyway. Why rush when you are spending that much money?

i went to CG for the 1st time last may. i had a 7:30 ps and fireworks were at 9:00. i arrived 20 min early, requested a window seat and was told they were not taking any more window requests for that evening. it was very busy and i ended up waiting until 8:30 for my table, but was thrilled when i actually got a window view afterall moral of the story is you might have a better chance getting your request if you keep the earlier ps. if they are busy you may not be seated too early. good luck
