Can anyone tell me what's it like. My kids actually have off Nov. 9-11 in 2005....So it wouldn't be a big deal to miss 2 days of school.

I liked that time of year. We were there Nov 2 - 12 . Most days the temperature was around 86. We had one day that had a high of 68.

The crowds were very manageable. I'd definitely go at that time of year again.

Great time to go. The weather is in the low 80's sometimes high 70's further into the month. The crowds are low, but you have to time it right if you want to avoid crowds, or you can just plan well to work around the crowds. You have Vet's day, Super Soap weekend, "Jersey week", Food and Wine Festival going on around that time so it can get crowded. Not like the summer though! If you do a search on this board you should be able to find the dates for next years NJ conventions. By this years dates on the other things you can get an idea of the dates for next year. To avoid those things I would suggest letting your kids go to school the beginning of the week, like if they have off starting the 9th, then leave the evening of the 8th to the 15th. They still only miss 2 days and you will miss most of the crowds. The F&W festival will be going on and you could still enjoy that.

We go every year the week before Thanksgiving and it is the best time to go! The weather is perfect and we only use fast pass for Peter Pan ride! Rarely any lines on anything!! But, SHHHH, don't tell too many people!
