We are doing a crusie in early Dec.Planned on flying into Orlando a few days early and staying at All Star Music-which turns out to be booked totally. I would love to try the Gaylord Palms but would not pay the rack rate. Anyone have luck on Hotwire for winning it. The day we leave I need an airport hotel for the night and would love the Hyatt. If you have used Hotwire for airport hotels what have you ended up with?

Thanks for your help..

I haven't but you might try biddingfortravel.com (I think? It might be the number 4 instead of the word.) But people there keep track of winning bids for different hotels/car rentals, etc.

I used biddingfortravel for strategies and and got Gaylord Palms through Priceline last July. We are local and always wanted to stay there. That said, I wouldn't go back. They tack on fees (parking, and some other fee I think), and the pool is WAY undersized for the size of the resort. It was fun, but it wasn't a "cheap" night after all of the fees were tacked on.
