Joined on Monday night. Ordered $200 worth of Target gift cards to use as gifts or to do my own shopping. Got them by Airborne Express today (Thursday). I'm impressed! The $40 in rebates will be more than enough to cover my dues for 5 months. I am ordering Q and C vouchers next and probably some hopper tickets and restaurant cards too. What a great deal! What super service!

We joined in Sept and are also very pleased. We've ordered numerous giftcards and are always delighted when purchase something on sale and, using the giftcards, essentially paying only 80% of the sale price.

Here's a giftcard tip or two: Right now, CircuitCity.com is offering free shipping on any purchase and you can use giftcards to make purchases. BarnesAndNoble.com is having a big 40% off sale with free shipping for orders over $25. Target.com has some items available for free shipping, as does Kmart.com. We've done quite a bit of Christmas shopping with the cards thus far-- have easily saved $50-60 already, PLUS the $100 we saved using our Q and C vouchers...

But I am still waiting for the ball to drop as far as service and business practices go. I have been very careful to make note of the $5 rebates that I am due and so far they have all come in a timely manner. I also heard that Connections (owned by the same parent company as HWSC) would automatically increase one's membership fees after 1 year, while also increasing the number of giftcards and vouchers you could buy. So watch your monthly statments to make sure you take notice of any changes after your 1 year anniversary date!

Does HWSC have movie tickets?

When we belonged to connections we purchased movie tickets for 4.50 each. What a bargin! We want to get some more when we join again to purchase our Q and C.

I received my Chuck E Cheese, Target and JCPenney cards today. My Toys R US were not in the package and when I called I was told they are being sent via first class mail. (not with the Airborne express)

I just placed an order yesturday and the Q&C is $11.25 and the Adult Breakfast is $17.75, the child's breakfast is $11.00.

I ordered $300 in Target gift cards as well. I will be using a lot of them the day after Thanksgiving. They came Airborne Express. So far so very good I ordered vouchers that we will be using this next trip .. some Q & C and 1 for Breakfast and 1 Kingdom Lunch for the Rainforest Cafe. We will be living it up this trip!

Buy a $25 gift card, get $5 rebated to your charge card on the next billing cycle. Limit of 15 cards/year from each participating vendor.

Anyone know if you can cancel the $7.95 a month after you have reached the limit on the number of gift cards, and then join again with another credit card or say my husband join?

I can go through the 15 limit on Toys R Us very easily, and hated to wait the entire year when I belonged to Connections.

Anyone?

I placed my first order Thursday and they just showed up today (Saturday) and everything is perfect. I am very pleased with how quickly I got my vouchers and movie tickets.

Well maybe this will help, my Toys R Us gift cards came and at the bottom read "Good at any R US location" so I am assuming that babies and kids are the same way meaning you can purchase 45 toys r us gift certificates, if they aren't they do have a 90 return/exchange policy.

As well as Olive Garden, Smokey Bones, Bahama Breeze. and red lobster are all owned by the same parent co and the gift certificates are interchangeable as well, so if you like only The Olive Garden, then you can purchase 60 (15 of each of the above restaraunts)!

Which is an awesome deal!

Ok, I'm curious about these gift card rebates. You need a login to find more on line. DH gives gift cards to employees to the Olive Gardens for Christmas presents. Can you buy $20 cards and get the rebate, or does it have to be $25 cards?

The gift cards are in amounts of $10.00 and a person is allowed to buy a total of 15 per restaurant per year. But when we ordered ours, we found out that it is the same gift card for Olive Garden, Red Lobster, Bahama Breeze and Smokey Bones which would mean yoiu can order 15 of them for each restaurant and they could all be used at one of the restaurants. There is no expiration date that I can find on the gift cards.

We give our subcontractors gift certificates to restaurants. I am really glad to get this info. I ordered several Outback and Olive Garden certificates on Saturday. It is my understanding that you can order 15 per year, per family member in your household. Since I didn't indicate the number of people in my household when signing up, I am not sure how this would work until I exceed my limit. Thanks for the info about some restaurants being interchangeable. After I make sure everything goes smoothly with the order, I'm going to order more for piano teacher, clarinet teacher, etc.
