Not sure if this is the right place to put this, but figured budget related. I just won the Hyatt Grand Cypress in Orlando for $29/night for several days at the end of July. It is a 4 star hotel and nice reviews on Trip Advisor. It is the first hotel on the list when I put in Orlando in Hotwire. HTH someone

Really? Is it the one they are listing as a 2 and 1/2 star? I put in July 21st to the 26th and 1st on the list when searching on Orlando Fl is $29 2 1/2 star in the I drive South area. What dates did you get it for?

That's a nice hotel. We looked at that one for a previous trip! Good job!!

The Hyatt website says there is a resort fee. :sad1:

Resort Fee: 22.50 United States Dollars Per Room Per Night USD

But, the hotel looks really nice!!

Wow! If you got the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress for that price, even with a resort fee, you got it for a steal!!! We stayed there this past Easter break, and it was easily as grand or more so than the Disney deluxe resorts!

Great job!:thumbsup2

I don't believe there is a parking fee. Even with the resort fee I figured $29 plus $20 is a great deal for this property. I went back on Hotwire last night and don't see the $29 for the 4 star property anymore. I also see it went back up to $100 plus per night on Expedia and Travelocity pretty quickly. I'm wondering if it was a temporary glitch in the system? Did not seem to stay at that low rate for very long. The dates I picked were July 29 - Aug 1. Going to the beach that week and needed someplace to stay for a few days at the end of the trip to visit the parks.

not a glitch. There was a rate once for the Omni of like $49. We wanted to go for a longer weekend, but tried to get the rest of the family, that wanted to go to agree. It was up for 4 days, then pulled when I told my wife that I would reserve it myself. Oh well.
