Hotels within walking distance of Universal

I know about the Doubletree, I stayed there on my Honeymoon anyone know any others that you can walk to Universal from? TIA, Sean

There's a Holiday Inn just across the street from the Doubletree and an Amerisuites just behind the Holiday Inn. Can't vouch for the Holiday Inn, but we did stay at the Amerisuites several years ago and thought it was a decent place.

If you can find a way to swing one of their onsite hotels (Royal Pacific is usually the cheapest), that's the way to go. You get unlimited front of the line access to the rides with your room key. When you check their rates, be sure to check for AAA. If you don't have it, it might be worth your while to get it if the rates they quote you are cheap enough (they often have introductory specials).
