Help! I have been emailing back and forth with Customer Assistance and still can't get a clear answer.

I am traveling from Michigan and would prefer to stay in a Disney Hotel which has a sink that can used while someone else is using the toilet/tub-shower. Most Disney Hotels in Walt Disney World put the sink outside the room with the toilet/tub-shower so that more than one person can get ready at one time. I know that the Grand Californian does have sinks outside the bathroom but no clear information about the Disneyland Hotel or Paradise Pier.

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Paradise Pier is all one big bathroom. Not sure about DLH. The Grand has a GREAT setup for everyone trying to get ready at the same time. Toilet and shower are in an enclosed room, there are dual sinks outside that are partitioned off from the main room.

I agree with this! We just stayed at DLH and requested a room with a separate sink vanity, but they didn't have them there. The rooms at the Grand all--or nearly all, anyway--have the dual sink vanity/dressing area separate from the toilet and tub. There is a pocket door that closes those off. MUCH prefer that setup, especially with multiple people getting ready at the same time!

The rooms I had at the Paradise Pier and the Disneyland Hotel both had the sink in the bathroom with the toilet/tub/shower.

I can confirm this for DLH. The room we were in, double queen in the Fantasy tower, also had a little alcove just outside the bathroom with a small counter space and a mirror, so one could put on make-up or blow-dry their hair in the space.

That's one of our favorite things about the Grand Californian! So much easier in the morning!

We stayed at the DLH in the Frontierland tower in December 2014. We had a standard room (double Queen, parking lot view). The sink was outside the bathroom - you walked in the hotel room and the bathroom had the toilet and shower on the right hand side, and there was an alcove with the closet and the sink on the left hand side. It was an awkward arrangement to tell the truth, more because you couldn't wash your hands immediately after using the toilet, you had to open the bathroom door and step across the hallway to use the sink.

Thanks for the helpful replies! Much more info than I could get from the Customer Service!! It is quite interesting that the Frontierland tower room did have a sink outside the bathroom- even though it was a strange setup. I may do more checking on Disneyland Hotel.

At the DLH, we had a 1 bedroom suite in the frontier tower and there was a small bathroom with tub/shower with toilet and sink, and outside that door was a separate sink also.

I wish there was a separate half bath instead in the living room area with a toilet and sink but oh well. There was a bar area in the living room that did have a sink and fridge. Quite large and spacious. We were upgraded.

When we stayed at the DLH the tub/shower and the sinks were all in one room, with just the toilet in its own room with a door.

We stayed in a king room at DLH ( adventure tower on the fourth floor ) and we had a door separating the toilet/tub/shower from the sink.
